The Ajuntament de Barcelona works to reduce the digital fracture and to achieve a true transformation towards the information society and the knowledge.

 

For this motive, the town council dedicates their efforts in the promotion and the utilization of the ICT, and particularly of Internet, as an instrument for the attention to the citizens, the improvement of the municipal services, the internal management and the participation in the government of the city.

 

The new regulation of the electronic administration have to maintain and to promote the own elements of these development model: the service orientation to the citizens, the agility and decentralization of the media management; the integration with the data bases and the corporative applications; the total use of the technology potential and, overcoat, the ambition of have an elevated level of acceptation and use by the citizens and companies.
