Barcelona Digital Technology Centre is member of the
Cyber Security National Advisory Council (CNCCS), which is intended to provide various organizations operating in Spain, Government or not, the knowledge and experience of these members on matters relating to the national or global cyber security, in order make Internet safer and information networks, and promote innovation and economic growth.
The Cyber Security National Advisory Council is a private initiative that is born in May 2009 fruit of the concern of the Spanish security industry.
Focuses its activity on initiatives that help a:
1. Protection of consumer Identity.
2. Protection of critical infrastructure.
3. Creation of national legislation against the cybercrime
4. Protection of corporative information.
5. Evolution of the governmental structure from the focus within the physical scope and the cyberspace.
6. The improvement and support, from the point of view of the Council, of the economic prosperity and national security.
Barcelona Digital is the first Catalan organization of the Council and joined with other twelve companies and agencies involved in the Council, some as prominent as Panda Security, Hispasec or S21sec.
