The Foundation Cercle Tecnològic of Catalonia (CTecno) and Barcelona Digital Technology Centre will work together to promote the technology deployment in the catalan business, through promotion activities that develop innovation, of scientific investigation and technological transfer. Thus it is removed from the collaboration agreement signed today between the general director of the Cercle Tecnològic of Catalonia, Carles Flamerich, and the general director of Barcelona Digital Technology Centre, Carles Fradera. 

 

Carles Fradera has indicated that the agreement is to "to stimulate the generation of initiatives for the investigation and the development, so much of the TIC and of its sector of business activity, like of the modernization of the sectors of activity of the traditional economy".  For his part, Carles Flamerich has stressed that "this step will contribute value, energy and imagination to advance toward the excellence of the sector". 

 

Among the points of the agreement, emphasizes the contribution in the promotion of the innovation. Both institutions will add forces to spread and to promote the technological innovation between the Catalonian Business society, promoting among the businesses users of the TIC the importance of the digitalization of the processes to increase their productivity and competitiveness.  Among these activities, they emphasize the technological Forums of strategic reflection, organized by the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya, the Debates about the Digital Economy, the Dinars Digitals or the BDigital Global Congress, organized events by Barcelona Digital. 

 

Also, the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya will collaborate with the Cluster of Barcelona Digital, an Innovative Business Association (IBA) that has a mission to promote the development of the businesses of the TIC sector of Catalonia increasing their competitiveness and volume of business.
